The Big 4 Power Program

The GCPT Big 4 Power Program is an extension of the Big 4 Strength Program that continues to focus on the 4 main movement patterns - the squat, the hinge, the push and the pull, now with the inclusion of high-velocity training. The Big 4 Power Program takes the strength base you’ve built through the previous training cycles and aims to increase your rate of force development (RFD) in varying planes of motion.
The program consists of:
A 4-Week Intermediate Cycle plus a 4-Week Advanced Cycle for a total of 8 training weeks.
3-day training split with ballistic jumping and medicine ball exercises.
Carefully selected accessories and assistance lifts to round out and supplement full-body power development.

Trainees and athletes looking to improve rate of force development/explosive strength
Athletes wanting to develop a strong base of power training before moving onto more specific preparation programs
