I'm a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and have a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. During my time studying at UBC, I focused on topics such exercise physiology, sport performance, nutrition and psychology. My background has been a big asset towards helping my clients and athletes achieve their fitness, weight loss, and performance goals. As a trainer, I have worked with fitness enthusiasts, beginner trainees, high-school sports teams, strength athletes, as well as leading group fitness and martial arts classes.
In my free time, I like to pursue my fitness endeavours as well as write about everything related to exercise, nutrition and high-performance training. My hopes are to get people thinking critically and intelligently about the way we train and the food we put into our body in order to create a sustainable lifestyle that can improve our short and long-term health.
